Arrive at the Pacific Ocean starting point. Equipment check, safety briefing, and team dinner. Overnight at coastal base camp.

Pacific Lowlands
Begin the expedition through Pacific coastal rainforest. Cross rivers, navigate jungle trails, and encounter coastal wildlife.

Ascending the Foothills
Trek through transitional forest zones as elevation increases. Encounter diverse bird species and tropical vegetation.

Volcanic Highlands

Deep in the Caribbean rainforest - the most biodiverse section of the expedition. Look for tapirs, jaguars, and poison dart frogs.

Lowland Caribbean
Emerge from the highlands into the Caribbean lowlands. The air becomes humid and warm, the vegetation lush and tropical.

Final Push to Caribbean
The final leg of the expedition. Trek through mangroves and coastal forest to reach the Caribbean Sea - a triumphant arrival.

Celebration and Departure
Celebration breakfast on the Caribbean coast. Transfer to San Jose airport for international departure. You have completed an extraordinary journey.
